Mohammad Sadeghi, PT, PhD

Mohammad Sadeghi is a registered physiotherapist dedicated to helping people move better, recover faster, and live pain-free. He co-founded Novel Physio in 2019 with his wife, Marjan, with a shared vision of providing personalized, evidence-based care in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Mohammad earned his PhD in Physiotherapy from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2011. Before moving to Canada, he served as a university professor, where he founded a physiotherapy department and mentored hundreds of students, inspiring the next generation of clinicians.
With over two decades of clinical experience, Mohammad takes a hands-on approach to treatment, using advanced manual therapy techniques, functional exercise, and patient education to restore movement and reduce pain. His individualized care plans focus on long-term recovery, helping patients return to work, sport, and everyday activities with confidence.

Marjan Ghavipisheh, PT, PhD

Marjan is a highly skilled and compassionate physiotherapist dedicated to helping patients move better, recover faster, and live pain-free lives. A member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, Marjan brings over 15 years of clinical and academic expertise to her practice.
She holds a BSc, MSc, and PhD in Physiotherapy, with a special interest in spinal health and prolonged standing induced low back pain. Her studies were completed through universities in both Iran and Canada, where she focused her research on understanding and managing spinal health. In addition, Marjan earned a Doctor of Osteopathy degree, enriching her approach with a holistic understanding of the human body.
Marjan’s clinical strengths include precise diagnosis and effective treatment of musculoskeletal conditions through manual therapy and tailored exercise programs. She also specializes in pelvic health physiotherapy, treating conditions such as urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, interstitial cystitis, and pain during intercourse.
Marjan founded Novel Physio in 2019 together with her husband, Dr. Mohammad Sadeghi, who also holds a PhD in Physiotherapy. Together, they have built a welcoming and evidence-based clinic devoted to helping patients regain movement and confidence in their daily lives.
Her philosophy is simple: Every patient deserves personalized, compassionate, and effective care.
Milad Ataeian, PT
Registered Physiotherapist /PhD Candidate, Western University
Milad Ataeian is a registered physiotherapist and PhD candidate at Western University, specializing in musculoskeletal (MSK), sports, and neurological rehabilitation. Since earning his physiotherapy degree from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in 2014, he has gained over a decade of hands-on clinical experience helping patients reduce pain, recover from injury, and restore optimal movement.
Milad has worked with a diverse range of individuals—from everyday patients to professional athletes—and has served as the team physiotherapist for a top-tier basketball team competing in Iran’s national championship.
Combining advanced manual therapy techniques, functional rehabilitation, and a strong evidence-based approach, Milad provides personalized care that supports each patient’s unique goals and long-term well-being.
Soumya Vannadil, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
I am an Ayurvedic Practitioner and Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, offering a holistic approach to wellness that integrates both Eastern and Western techniques. With extensive experience in prenatal and postpartum massage, as well as diet, weight management, and chronic pain relief, I create tailored sessions designed to meet each client’s unique needs.
By request, I incorporate Ayurvedic herbal oils into treatments, alongside a range of modalities including Swedish, therapeutic, deep tissue, relaxation, and traditional Ayurvedic massage. My goal is to provide a nurturing and personalized experience that promotes healing, restores balance, and supports each client on their journey toward improved health and overall well-being.
Monireh Ahmadi Bani, PhD, CPO
Certified Orthotist | Member, Orthotics and Prosthetics Canada (OPC)
Monireh is a Certified Orthotist and a member in good standing of the Canadian Board for Orthotics and Prosthetics Canada (OPC). She holds a PhD in Orthotics and Prosthetics and brings over 15 years of clinical experience in the assessment, design, and fitting of orthoses.
She is deeply committed to patient-centered care and has extensive experience treating a wide range of conditions, including flat feet, plantar fasciitis, diabetic foot complications, arthritis, and sports-related injuries. Monireh has developed special expertise in custom foot orthotics and lower limb bracing, helping patients restore mobility, improve function, and prevent further complications.
Combining evidence-based practice with advanced fabrication techniques, she creates orthotic solutions tailored to each patient’s unique needs. She is passionate about educating patients on their conditions and ensuring each device is functional, comfortable, and effective in daily life.
As a lifelong learner, Monireh continues to expand her knowledge in biomechanics, gait analysis, and innovative orthotic technologies, delivering care that is compassionate, precise, and results-focused.
Armita Kavianirad
PTA, Clinic Coordinator
Armita is the Clinic Coordinator and Physiotherapist Assistant at Novel Physio, where she combines her passion for healthcare with her dedication to helping others. She plays an essential role in managing appointments, assisting the clinical team with daily operations, and ensuring a smooth and organized experience for every patient.
Known for her friendly and calm demeanor, Armita helps create a welcoming and supportive environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for from the moment they arrive. Her attention to detail and genuine compassion make her an integral part of the Novel Physio team.
